The "Silo Tax" vs. The Unified Front Door

11 June 2026

I spoke at Staffbase EXchange Sydney at Hilton Sydney on intelligent collaboration with unified systems. My session, "The Silo Tax vs. The Unified Front Door," explored the lost productivity, licensing waste, and context-switching fatigue that appear when information is trapped in disconnected tools, and how a unified employee experience can make work easier to navigate.

I spoke at Staffbase EXchange Sydney at Hilton Sydney, an event for HR, Internal Communications, IT and Operations leaders focused on the future of the digital workplace and employee experience.

My breakout session, "The Silo Tax" vs. The Unified Front Door, explored the lost productivity, licensing waste and context-switching fatigue that happen when information is trapped in disconnected tools. I also connected the session back to my blog post, The Silo Tax and the Case for a Unified Front Door, where I unpack the same idea in more detail.
